Youtube + Atlas Obscura Earth Day Series “Nonfungible Planet”
In celebration of Earth Day, Atlas Obscura and YouTube engaged SKB Event Shop to work with them on curating a series of video productions around the globe with notable YouTube influencers, all to culminate in a video project entitled “Non-Fungible Planet”. Each influencer was paired with a local expert to visit a one-of-a-kind unique natural wonder in their own home country, to which they each visited and documented in their own distinct voices.
SKB Event Shop worked with both clients to curate a list of locations as options for the influencers to visit, curate a list of local experts, and coordinate all details of the visit and video shoots. SKB also worked closely with the video team on the editing of the final sizzle reel and landing page hosting all of the contributing videos.
Managed remotely, SKB successfully produced nine (9) video shoots across the world including South Korea, South Africa, two in India, Ecuador, two in the UK, Hawaii and New Mexico. All aspects of the productions were managed by SKB including coordination of local permits, transportation for the talent and crew, pre-production calls with all key parties including talent, booking of the local experts and management of their travel and accommodations, management of the video assets when complete, and overall coordination with both clients, leading weekly calls with all key parties. SKB also oversaw the eventual launch of the project on Earth Day across all platforms, promoting on social and in the press.
